Cookie Policy

The short version. We use a small number of cookies and similar storage. Essentials (like staying signed in) just work. Everything else — analytics and advertising measurement — happens only if you say yes, and one choice covers every Kindred site. If you haven't been asked yet, nothing optional has been set.
1. What this covers
This policy covers cookies, localStorage, and similar browser storage on all Kindred web properties: heykindred.app, explore.heykindred.app, and athome.heykindred.app. It is issued by Synova Technology AB (org. nr 559403-0552), Björkrisvägen 16, 167 66 Bromma, Sweden.
2. Three categories
Strictly necessary — no consent needed. Storage the sites cannot work without: keeping you signed in, remembering your settings, and remembering your cookie choices themselves.
Analytics — only with your consent. Google Analytics, which helps us understand how Kindred is used so we can improve it.
Marketing — only with your consent. Google Ads measurement, used when we run advertising campaigns for Kindred, so we can tell whether our own ads work.

heykindred.app (marketing site) sets nothing beyond the shared table above. Joining the waitlist sends your email directly to our email provider (Kit) — no Kit script runs and no Kit cookies are set.
4. How consent works
The first time you visit a Kindred site, a banner asks what you're comfortable with — per category, with "accept" and "decline" equally easy. Nothing optional is set before you choose. Your choice is stored in the kindred_consent cookie, shared across all Kindred sites, so we only ask once. We ask again after 12 months, or if this policy changes materially.
Change your mind anytime via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every Kindred site. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
If the banner hasn't been shown to you yet, no optional cookies have been set at all.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also view, delete, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of Kindred working — for example, you won't stay signed in.
6. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, its version number changes and the consent banner will ask you again. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
